The New Jersey Swimming and Diving conference is an organization established to provide a safe, fun and fair competition environment forchildren and young adults in the central New Jersey area. NJSDC provides the framework under which teams compete during the summer months. These competitions include a number of Dual Meet Competitions, League Team Championships, Individual Conference Championships, as well as vaious member sponsored competitions and fun activities. In 2010, NJSDC is comprised of 31 teams which are broken out into 4 competitive leagues. The composition of these leagues may change from year to year in an attempt to ensure that competitors are evenly matched given the varying size and skill levels of the teams involved. NJSDC member teams are each unique in their own way. While one team may be home to swimmers that swim competetivly throughout the entire year, other teams my be comprised of "summer only" swimmers. Our goal is to provide as fair and enjoyable a competition environment as we can. As the composition of our teams change from season to season, so do the league sizes and alignments. This is done as we strive for a fair and balanced competetive environment. The three most important components of the NJSDC are: NJSDC welcomes ideas and suggestions as to how to improve the experience we provide our member teams.
